Questions considering tuning?
#1
Ok I have some question about considering tuning. The place I am gonna buy the procharger offers the Diablosport custom tuning, but I dont know if they offer different changes like if I was to install a 3200 stall converter and eliminate all torque management. I would get a Nelson Tune but his tunes are locked so I dont think I would be able to do the Wideband Commander like I want to do with his tune. I would like to get HP tuners but I dont have a clue on how to tune at all. Everything on their site looks Greek to me, with all the charts and graphs. I dont know what to do, should I just get the Diablosport and get one of their custom tunes then dial it in with the wideband or get HP tuners and try to tune it myself? I think with the Diablosport they can eliminate all TQ managment if requested with a built trans but I dont know about the stall converter. From what the guys at the place say the Diablosport is like LS edit becasue the tuners will tune it then E-mail the tune to them and download it into the programmer which I think is nice.

I will 02denali, I really want one of his tunes and I really dont want to deal with that Diablosport programmer since the handheld cost more and theres a 120 dollar addition after the price for the cables and hook up for a custom tune, then the fee is 60 dollars and hour on the dyno!! I think that way would get way to expensive. A unlocked tune would be awesome, since I want to try out the Dynojet wideband commander which btw looks like it is very easy to use.
