The Radix flows better than you give it credit for!

The radix system for a 5.3 uses a 3.4"pulley to make 61/2lb of boost the 6.0 makes the same boost with a 3.2"pulley.A 408 would make about 61/2lb boost with a 3.0"pulley like I am currently running. With a 3.0"pulley my Tahoe makes 91/2lb of boost when I open the throttle but the boost is still climbing at the 6000rpm rev limiter showing 11lb.Ford Lightnings using the same supercharger have no trouble maintaning 13lb of boost. And I've seen pulleys that fit a Radix as small as 2.3".

ok guys, i am not trying to slam the radix at all, it looks to be the best system out there right now to me.
the question is will it feed alot of boost into a stroker motor. if your going to build a forged stroker motor i hope you are going for some BIG numbers, otherwise why bother with a stroker, just beef up the 6.0 a little. how much boost is the 427 that big tex mentioned seeing?
another thing, if the 112 refers to the cubic inch displacement of that blower than it is smaller than the whipple. 112ci = ~1.9L, that is alot smaller than the 2.3L whipple and the whipple would never efectively feed a 408 unless you are going to be happy with 6-8psi.
i would love to be proven wrong, i am looking at doing a turbo set up but if there was a big intercooled roots or twin screw blower out there for us i would go that route. a low compresion 408 with 14lb's of boost would be crazy :-)
the lightning guys are runing a 5.4 right? not a 7.0. and they upgrade the blower when they really push it too.

Parish8 if I were building a 10second street truck I would use the Radix intake manifold and intercooler with the intercooler modified to run off the airconditioner compresser and 2-2.3liter whipplechargers with 2 electronic throttlebodies and MAFs sitting on top of a 427 stroker.1100HP with a 5200lb truck would easily put you into the low 10s.You could make enough boost and flow enough boosted mixture to make more than 1400hp.
