RED2K put that in his 5.3 a few months back. I thin he has some idle issues and needs some tuning. I think its just a tad large without a good converter and tuning.

Nawhhhh I like it. Got my tuning issues taken care of. You will need a stall. I had lost alot of power down low. O think you could degreee it though to make up for some of it. I ran a 80 shot out of the hole to make up for it. it pulls good to about 6300rpm. It kicks in about 2750. I wish i had it on a 112 sep , but that is me and i love that sound you get from a 112.

The 212/218 cam the guys at Thunder Racing are using sounds a lot more streetable. With to big of cam your truck won't be much fun to drive on the street.Sure you can tune it to perform at the track but do you really want to live with it every day.

I would love to call up tybrne, buy the Radix and be done with this thing. Just not gonna happen, so
I'm steering more towards a cam swap to wake up the truck as a cheaper mod, giving me alot less than the radix but still waking it up. It looks like I would be better off with the 212/218- with the stall in the truck and upcoming gears I don't think I could go wrong. The 99 supposed to have a smaller cam than 00+ up but havn't seen the two compared.
Thanks

It looks like almost everyone is offering reduced pricing on their ported heads.I would check into buying a cam and head combo, you might be surprised at the deal can you get.
