Default Questions about 07 suburban can upgrade

Had a DoD lifter collapse on me so now I need to tear into the motor. I've been looking at the AMSracing DoD delete kit but unsure of whether to choose the stage 2 or stage 3 BTR can of I go that route. Another cam I looked at was the cam motion low lift truck cam. But open to any recommendations.

Truck is daily driven for me and used for when the whole family goes out of town. Rarely sees any towing. I don't plan on changing out the torque converter, has stock 3.73 gears with 33s on the factory 20s. Suspension wise the truck is leveled out. I will be adding the speed engineering Lts with ypipe. Will run stock muffler for now until spring time.

Simply looking for some extra power that won't destroy mpg but helps with driveability and adds a nice idle/exhaust note.

The smaller the cam the better. Generally speaking, under 220 duration. Tight LSA, 110-112

BTR stage 2 (Specs: 212/218 .553/.553 111) Is what I've mostly.been looking at.

The cam motion low lift truck cam has quite a bit higher duration but lower lift.
224/230 112+3 .500" Lift Though it does say a 2800 stall may be required.

The cam sheet on the stage 2 seems right up my alley though. Is there a cam in that range that you'd recommend over it, I will be replacing springs and pushrods with it.

I run a 212/218 .550/.550 on 112 and I love it. I'd run the BTR stg2 if it were my truck

Sounds like the TSP stg2. I've done a few cars before but this be my first time upgrading the valve train on a truck so the smaller cam numbers have been throwing me off. Excited to see how the did delete, cam, headers and tune wakes this truck up.

it is the TSP stg2. I had LS6 springs already, so I wanted an LS6 spring friendly cam for the next cam

Its too easy to overcam a truck. Small is better for us

The 6.0 in my Tahoe is great with the 212/218 on a 112 lap. It tows fantastic, sounds good and, still pulls well up to 6,000rpm.

I run this same cam in my 370. If I were to do this build again I'd choose the same cam again

I like torque down low and do not want my RPM band to move on up to get more torque and horsepower. So when that day comes, my decision will be between:

Crane 1449501 - 200 200 .502 .502 113 or 114

BTR 30202111 - 202 202 .507 .507 111

Wow I didn't even know they made such small cams. I guess those wouldn't be a bad choice but I feel since my 212/218 is so mild anything less would feel like it's a factory cam still. I doubt they would sound different too.
