Default Question for LS6 vs FAST 102.

So here's my situation.

I'll be doing a FAST 102mm intake swap on my '01 SS next summer, and it currently has the LS6 intake.

I'm also working on doing an L92 swap in my K1500. Is there any reason the LS6 intake wouldn't fit and be an upgrade on that L92, without spending the money for a FAST on the L92?

If you are using stock L92/LS3 heads then the ls6 intake will not fit. L92/LS3 heads have square ports vs the cathedral shaped ports of the ls1/ls6.

Gotcha. So I need to purchase an LS3/L92 specific intake if I want to upgrade it.

Yes sir and from what I have seen on tech its either the stock car intake or the FAST intakes. No one really made much power with the single plane intakes for some reason..
