Default question bout true dual setup

Ya I'm puttin pacesetter LTs on my truck then ima run 2.5" pipes, my question is, the LTs headers have a 3" collector, when should I reduce the size of the pipe? Right after the collector and before the cats? Or right after the cats? So I guess da question is 3" cats or 2.5 cats? Let me know fellas thx

Naw there wouldn't be any back pressure with 3" pipes all the way through, 3" pipes is good if ur pushin over 450hp

Dont go 3" all the way back. Even when I had full bolt ons and a big cam it still needed more back pressure IMO with dual 2.5" with no cats and through cutouts. Reduce it right at the collector.

Reduce them right at the collector, 2.5" all the way back with no cats.
