Default Question about SES light

I changed gears 3.42 to 4.10 about three weeks ago.Drove it out of town ten miles, and was coming back the SES was on!Did the gas cap thing, while i was at it redone a ground wire and put it on battery.Fired it back up,lite off.Guess i reset it.Drove around town &every is fine, untill today when it came on again !Transmission shifts hard 1st to 2nd.Early today i passed a car going 65 barely pushed the pedal and at 70 felt like i had anther gear.10 sec later felt like it whent out of that gear.Whats going on?Did i do something wrong? When i changhed gears i put a e-fan on,could both of this be the resaon?Or somthing else,i think its the new gears. Please Help!

If you don't have a HPP3 it will mess up your shift point mph and the computer probably noticed this with the speed sensors or something like that
