I ran a new personal best at Memphis Thursday night-12.41 at 107 with a 1.73 sixty foot. I am having trouble hooking-time for some suspension work and some taller tires over the winter. I predict that I will be deep in the 11's at beginning of next season. I should have been there this year but I suffered some serious $$$ setbacks.

The truck looked like it hooked pretty good, when put the holeshot on the Blue Lightning I was staging right behind you and saw the 12.41 flash up.Maybe,it's time to look at spraying if you want low 11's.Look into a nitrous computer and let it add the spray when and how much you want on a 100+ shot. The truck looks good with the new hood too.

I'm pretty suprised that it runs that strong on a non-intercooled whipple. Granted, the cooler weather make a huge difference. I think it was this time last year that Parish8 started seeing some strong numbers from his whippled 6.0 liter.

i didn't even go out racing if it was above 80deg or so, that is till i got the nitrous. my experinece with the whipple was once it got up into the 90's it gave my next to no power at all, 70's gave a nice boost and in the 40-50's it ran like a raped ape.
then add a small shot and hang on, thats when you can feel your stomache do that kind of drop feeling at the launch, it would actualy take a little of your breath away if you weren't ready for it. 50shot!! do a 50shot!! :-)

Damn .... I need a tranny in my truck so I can add that monster of a blower.
I've decided it's not going on there without a cam either. I'll do heads at a later time.
BTw .. those are some really nice times.

Seriously though, I think intercooled that the Whipple would be the best kit out there since it's a twinscrew compressor.Just wish they'd get off thier *** and release it.
