i have a related question...if you install a cam and raise the rev limiter, do you have to cut the peg off of the tach? or is it ok to just let it hit the peg? what do you do?

i guess its okay to let it hit the peg. I have a monster tach and i shift around 6200-6500 and im sure the stock gauge on the cluster must peg all the time, i just dont look at the stocker, i wonder if it fell off by now, lol i'll look next time i get it up that high.
