If you have LS1 edit tuning (which I have to drive 250miles to get) and later want to get higher gears, can i use a hpp3 to just change the gears and still keep LS1 edit tunning? Or does it put its own program in anyway? I can't afford gears/eaton right now. Please help!

 

i'm not sure but i would think not. i mean, don't hppIII have to download some stuff before you can mess with the tuning? i have never had one so i really don't know much about it. most programmers or tuning won't allow for other programmers and tuning to interfere. that's a good question tho.

 

doubt it. when the HPP3 puts its tuning (including gears changes) into yur computer, it takes out whatever is in there
