TACH WIRE????
which wire in the little connector going into the gauge cluster is the one for the tachometer? i've heard white, and i've heard grey, so which is it? or is it either...you guys that have tachs let me know what you did. i want the stock tach to not work and the new one to be the primary since it will be more accurate.

Re: TACH WIRE????
yeah...but i don't want to run it from that wire...i want to run it from the wire on the harness plugging into the cluster. maybe it's the same wire.

Re: TACH WIRE????
Matt, like I said in the other thread, the white wire on the #10 pin on the PCM is the tach output wire. It is the same wire on the cluster. There should only be one SOLID white wire up there.
