Default question!!!

i just went to dyno but i couldnt because my dumb BS escalade has something wrong with the traction control

the light on the dash is on (like its supposed to be if you were to turn it off with the button) but my traction control still come on at times (pretty much every day)

ive searched the forum and i think nobody has ever touched on the subject of stabil/traction light on and traction is still coming on

its like someone is holding the truck back and a weird kinda vibration happens under my foot make like a chuggin noise

on the dyno i didnt make more than 180whp and the car smelled like brakes...

WAHT THE F##K IS GOING ON

when i floor it on the street or launch it, it dosent seem to happen at WOT but maybe it is... but then again i just beat 350z so i should dynoed a real number

how do i dyno this thing for realz

If you have a access to a tec 2 scan tool at a constent speed about 10mph or so. Monitor your front wheel speed and look for any fluctuation in speed compaird to the back. A so called dead spot will make the computer think a wheel is sliding or others are spinning. also a corroded ABS sensor in the wheel bearing hub or a loose wheel bearing can cause this also.

If you dont have a tec 2. check your wheel bearings for play, if none try to pull out your front ABS sensors and clean it put some dielectric grease on it and hope for the best or put a new hub on it

guess you could just pull the ABS fuse too.. thats the wrong way!!

hope this helps!!
