Who has a lighter truck then me lol? Single cab short bed...

But yeah Nitrous Oxide is a great way to ruin the warrenty on my $25,000 truck

So Exhaust/CAI/Tune and you think I'd still be running 15s? I don't know what else I can do without voiding my warrenty. Hell the tune alone may void it.

There is a member on here with a 4.8 with bolt ons and a 3400 stall that ran 13.6. Best I can muster on a basically stock is a 14.8 or so. I think with traction and some changes in my tune I can get it down a bit.

nitrous is just as easy to take off as it is to put on.. can be taken off in 30 minutes, and returned to stock. they would never know.

i dont know if wheatley does it of some of the other tuners but nelson will charge a 55$ core charge if you dont send in the stock pcm, 375$ for his tune so what 455$ and you can keep your stock pcm, so you can switch it out if something goes wrong, im sure the other tuners are somewhere around the same kinda process, dont quote me on that 55$ it might have changed by now just get a hold of some of the tuners or just look at thier web sites.

The 4.8 with the same mods shoudn't be too far behind it maybe low 14's.
Yes a tune by it self will void your warrenty unless you are able to put it back to stock in case you ahd to bring it to the dealer for work to be performed.

Your time estimates seem a little off to me.
I have NEVER seen a 5.3 with just a tune, CAI and exhaust run 13s. Much less fairly often. High 14s-low 15s seem to be the norm for that setup.

I have owned 2 5.3 trucks, an 04' RCSB with tune, intake and exhaust with 3.73s that ran a 14.7.
My current truck is a 06' ECSB with the exact same setup, and it runs 15.0s, but with 20in wheels.

I just dont see 13s from a 5.3 without going into the engine, or running a shitload of stall and gutting the truck.

As for the 4.8s, id expect them to be 5 tenths slower with the same mods.
