Question Q: STS turbos and ground clearance.

I have a few questions on the STS turbo kit. I would like to get the STS system, but a few things bother me. First of all, I live on a dirt road that gets muddy when it rains. Will that have a negative effect on having the STS? I plan to do a Hotchkis 2/4 soon, so that's going to be less ground clearance. Second thing, I work construction and most of the time, I have to deal with dirty/muddy job-sites. I know the kit comes with a pre-filter, but would that help?

I know it would probably be better in my situation to get a Radix, but the STS turbo is cheaper. I also prefer to get the STS. Any help would be appreciated.

With the new design they have you shouldn't have any issues with clearence or suckin up water/mud/dirt. If you have the money go for it.THere are plenty of people here with them and have no probs.

Calm down Jow, I still have to put the 4 Gs back!! I was just trying to get input before I made a decision. No, I haven't got slicks yet, don't have any power to push em. I did just get a set of Toyo Proxes for my stockers though. My next purchase is going to be the Hotchkis TVS. I really need a NELSON TUNE !!!

Get the snorkel that relocates the air filter and you'll be fine.
