I've had reduced powermode before. I think I had the TB harness plug loose or something. Not exactly the same thing as yours since yours goes limp after it goes WOT. Its only done that once.
Do the segment IDs match between your Edit files?
Have you done a hard reset of the PCM yet? Pull the Neg batt cable then turn ignition on to start for 30 seconds. If that doesnt work, try the pos batt cable. If that doesn't work either, then go have a drink.
