If you have the Volant with the ram air tube it's worth more than 5 hp.
Though I see your point.
Lets all just admit it, for HP&TQ gains these days, YOU WILL be paying for it.
Todays high tech computer controlled vehicles just require a LOT of $$$$$$ to get more power.
The best bang for the buck would indefinitely be NO2.
The next best thing for more reliability & HP/ TQ would be a supercharger (if you install it yourself...it may be worth the extra money saved).
Then last would be a turbo system. My-2-cents-worth.

I didn't think I was gonna get my bolt off either!! I finally went and bought a 4 foot breaker bar and put my big **** on it!! But it was worth it!!! Removing the pulley after the bolt removal was a Pita!!...JohnB

Well i know for sure a stock 4.8 puts down about 200hp and 220 pounds of torque to the wheels. I put mine on the dyno at UTI after the intake and exhaust and it dynoed 235hp and 245 tq, so intake and exhaust worth 35hp and 25tq I think its pretty good for less than $400.

I have it and all the guys that work with me also have it and no one has every had a problem with their motor running hot you have something else wrong.Do you still have it on are did you take it off.If you took it off sell it to someone that can use it.I have 3 e-fans and ele water pump that i just installed with every thing up and running I still have good volts with pulley on.
I don't know what you did wrong are what other problem you have but you are the first person to have all these problems that I know of.
