1)What size injectors are you guys running??

2)How much boost are you running??

3)What size turbo are you running??

4)And what gears are you guys running in the rear???

thanks.

What I have is a stock Formula, 5psi, stock fuel, 60-1, 3:42's. Injectors are maxed out.
Its a good idea to do injectors; 42lb. The size turbo depends on what you are doing with the truck. If you are going to run just 5psi, then the base turbo will work great. If this is a work in progress, then you should buy for your goal and put up with a turbo thats too large until you get enough motor for it. A stall is one of the best mods you can do with the turbo. You dont need alot of gear for the turbo. Nelsons truck is in the 11's ( maybe 10's now) with 3:08's.

I have a 3000stall in the truck right now with 4:11 gears. My engine is a built 4.8l with a set of p/p ls1 heads. The turbo is a gt-67 with a fmic. I have a set of 60# racetronix to go on with it. Am i going to run out of gear???

IMO, I would go with less gear; 3.23's or so. My son has the 5psi kit on his LT1, and with 2:73's, he has traction issues when boost hits. I would think you would be happier with the higher gears driving it everyday and it will perform great. I think the GT-67 will work great for what you have. Just my .02.

another reason for higher gears like 3.23's or higher is you will probably make boost sooner and be able to load it more in 1st gear and make more boost, and use the awesome torque over a broader range.
Example, mine usually makes 5 psi in 1st and then 6-7 in 2nd. 1st gear is over with too soon and doesn't put a big load on the turbo. With a the 4l60's low 1st gear and 4.11's in the rear it might be too low, it will work fine though, just it might be better with higher gears.

If I was trying to squeeze every bit out of mine, I would drop down to 3.23 to gain traction and make more boost in 1st longer.

I have 3.42s in my truck. I have trouble with traction of the line. It gets even worse going from 1-2. I have to let off the throttle a good bit to hook back up. This is on street tires though.

1)What size injectors are you guys running??

42s at first. Now 60lbs on the new motor.

2)How much boost are you running??

Maxed out at 14-15psi

3)What size turbo are you running??

Was GT67 .81 A/R. May go to a T70 or 76 after I see what the GT67 does on the new motor.

4)And what gears are you guys running in the rear???

Was 3.73s and a 30" tire. I will go down to a 3.23 most likely on the new setup but will wait to dyno and see my powerband first.

F8L~ thanks man for the response. I was hoping you would chime in. How much boost do you think that I will be able to make with my set up. I was hoping for like 15psi on 93 octane.
