He has all the more reason to smoke the stock ones up now.

Have you done anything to the driveshaft as far as U-Joints go, I have seen enough truck pulls to know that they are the weakest part of the drivetrain on a lot of trucks, well, besides the clutch, but I hope you have all the stuff before the driveshaft figured out.

You'll defiantely have to lower the truck some. I tried putting my 29" Centerlines from my grey truck onto the Z71 and I looked WAY south of the border! It drove better obviously but looked like hell. LOL

yes, t88 , i just got it on there and never got to dyno it or push it hard at all. i can't want to get into tuning that monster.

the rims are the eagle's. something like $900 shiped for all 4 with nuts and stems. 6" bs

the tires are only 28.7" tall. i am running 31" tires now. these will look silly and might even have that south of the border syle to it. if they stick like i hope i will lower the truck so it looks good. if they dont stick then i will keep the rims but get some taller street tires for them.

i dont plan on geting a full cage if i dont have to. i am prety sure my local track would let me get by going a ways into the 9's with just the roll bar.

the tranny blanket wont keep the track clean. it is there to keep parts from flying thru the cab and killing me.

i expect something to break with the new tires and turbo. i think it will be the rear before the front. should be start a poll?

tranny and motor are all fresh, input shaft is cryo treated and i am not going to keep it locked thru the shifts. stock heads still with cometics. head lifting and blown head gaskets may be a problem soon.
It was deleted, then un deleted, then locked because someone said I agreed with a negitive statement about you. I guess I'm still heated about the whole deal because I have no reason to say or agree with something negitive about you. I'll get over it though, in time.......

This is my 4x4 2500hd on 29.5 toyo's. To get it lowered, i used belltech lowering torsion keys for a tahoe. For the back i used a 5'' lowering shackle and removed some springs from the rear pack. Your 1500 should sit even a few more inches lower.

after
