just curious how many tenths yall gaining off of hypertechs and superchips im about to buy one for my truck just wandering which may be the best buy. thanks.

what type of vehicle, engine model, what mods do you have, most people around here prefer a custom tune

I had the superchips programmer for mine. It was alright. But I got a custom tune from Nelson Performance and it was like night and day! If you want to get your moneys worth, get a custom tune.

Used to own a HPPIII. Not to talk bad about handhelds, but your money's better spent on a custom tune.

I think he has a ford so probably his only choices are handheld programmers... dont really know which one is better???

Yeah, if its a Ford then go to the Ford Section under Tuning and Diagnostics and look up performance chips/tune/programmers or something like that. There's a guy that does tuning for the Fords. Its called bamachips.com. He's the only one I know of that can do a custom tune, which would be your best bet.
