Powder coating......$30-50

Plus by doing them mass production, the cost might be a little less, so, they must have a huge overhead to compensate for, i'm not bashing in any way, hell, i like the design better than a UPD or K&N, because you eliminate the need for a heat shield, and it looks cleaner, but until CAI kit mfgr.'s become a little more reasonable, i'll just keep making my own, the only special piece needed to make this kit, is a band saw and welder, and that could be bypassed with some JB weld, or epoxy, and a hacksaw, the just prime it good and spray paint it, If they drop down around 150, it would be worth the order, but i like to do as much as possible on my truck, i like the feeling knowing i did the work myself.

Would you mind making me one for $150?

We arent mass producing yet. We do them all in house...about 20-30 per week. The current color is black. Special consideration can be made for a different color upon request. Being that we designed these for our trucks specifically, its more than a simple bit of piping put together. This particular design is the final of 7 different ones we tried. Getting the proper airflow makes a big difference in the end result. Being that Charles (fabricator for this intake) was building this for his truck, he wasnt settling for 2nd best. The design was reworked until he was happy with the results...

pretty cool looking setup. I don't know about $250, not till I see proof that it produces hp. Especially on a supercharged truck. Can't wait to see a comparison to stock on a dyno.
