Default Procharger owners

Do any of you procharger owners have any kind of custom intakes??? Lets face it, the filter is wayy to small and its in the worst possible spot.

Does anyone have any custom setups or just ideas or plans for their trucks??

In case anyone is interested, here is my plan, I have my huge S&B filter from my volant box, and i was thinking of relocating my battery to the spot by the firewall where the duramax trucks have their secondary batteries, and running an intake pipe over to where the battery originally was to try and get some cooler air into the motor. What do you guys think?

I got rid of the FMU when I got bigger injectors, so it freed up some room against the firewall.
I have a filter about 2X the size of the procharger supplied filter on a 4" rubber 90 degeree elbow coming out of the back of the charger. The top of it sticks up into my cowl hood.

I like the idea of an intake where the battery sits. What are your plans for ducting from the back of the charger to that spot?

Check it out: http://www.theexhaustshop.net/curtis.shtml
TIRBRNR is the guy you want to talk to. He has also built a custom air/water intercooler setup for it. He puts down a little over 500rwhp

I was also thinking about doing the same thing you did. I figured Id do that and see how it does.

As far as plumbing it over there, I havent looked into it too much yet, but i was thinking about running it over the idler pully right next to the blower and then straight across to where the battery is. Im not sure if a 4" pipe will fit there or not, but ill find out.
