I have a 95 ford explorer v6...check engine light goes on and off here and there...when you drive, the car pulses forward and then slower....it's like you are hitting the gas a little bit and letting off...also when idling the rpms fluctuate from time to time...i'm trying to figure out what is wrong...i tried scanning the car but the scanner didn't work...do you think it would be the 02's...car just recently had a new fuel pump installed...so that is not the problem...i need help asap guys...thanks

 

I am willing to bet it is the IAC Valve.

 

iac? also how much and how difficult is it to replace/get fixed?

 

Simple tells the computer how to idle how much air is being used..

if you wanna get rid of the check engine light , just diconnect the battery and reconnect the battery.

 

how long will it get rid of it for...because it is ANNOYING...it's my girlfriends car...and it annoys me at night when we are riding in it...and the pulsing is annoying too...i mean there really isn't anything "wrong" it is just annoying stuff...
