Default Problem w/Tune and E-Fans

I have a Nelson Tune with his e-fan harness and about every 10-15 times my truck's ignition is turned from the on to off position my e-fans still run until I turn the truck's ignition back to the on position and back to off. Does anyone else have a problem like this?

There is a setpoint in HPTuners for the PCM to contiune to run the fans if the temp is at or above a certian temp. There is also a time set for them to run. Is it possible that when this happens the truck is fairly hot. I supose a way to test would be when this happens to just let them run for a bit and see if they turn off on their own?

I dont think that it is. When I turned my truck off and went into a store I came back 15 min later and the fans were still running. I was suprised it didnt run my battery dead. I am not sure what is up with it. It doesnt do it every time, but once every 10-15 times I turn the truck off.

I'd suggest pulling out a multimeter or a test light and do some testing. Possible a sticking relay? Could still be the pcm doing what it is told to do but a very long time set in the time to run value. Would have to have edit or HP to look.

Not exactly the same problem but ,my fans did this when I was disconnecting the battery. I pulled of the negative terminal (but the ground to the fans was still hooked up on my top post) and the fans went on. I thought that was wierd so I hooked it back up and the fans kept running. The only way I got them to stop was by dissconnecting the actual power that goes to the fans. It was wierd. But the thing is I have a VCS controller. Dont know maybe your wires that power the fans.
