Default HP Tuner Question's

I have some questions about HP Tuner for the guys that are using it .
Can I only read codes on the my 2 vehicles ?
Can I save my stock tune so if I screw up I can reinstall and start over?
How long did it take you to master HP Tuner.
I just thought getting HP Tuner would be better in the long run than a custom
tune. Once I figured it out.
Any horror stories about HP Tuner?
Thanks for the replies.

1. No, you can read codes in other vehicles too, you just can't read or edit their pcm.
2. Yes
3. Still in the process of mastering HP tuners.
4. I would stick to HP tuners and learn my way through.
5. Have not heard of any horror stories with HP tuners yet.

1> I believe you can read and edit all of same year and model of your vehicle. I have an 03 Silverado and if I understand correctly I can read and edit all 03 trucks although I haven't tried it yet.

Correct, he is able to read and write all of the 2 vehicles/year he purchased support for. For example, I can read and write as many 03 Silverado/Sierra as I can with my 03 GM truck version.
