what do u think my truck would run....

z06 cam
thorley headers
100dry shot nitrous

any guess on times? its a rcsb 4.8 5spd
any other cam suggestions? not sure if cam choice depends if u run nitrous or not...

I suggest you have a replacement tranny on hand or get ready to do a 6-speed or automatic conversion.

i would guess low 14's. i don't speak cam yet, so couldn't tell you a good one to go w/ for nitrous. a good 212/218 is popular, but again, i d k how it would work w/ the gas.

would a stronger cam than the z06 net me in high 13 territory?

talkin 4hi launch and everything. steel roll pan, removd spare tire...all the weight redux i can.

The Z06 cam is a good n20/F1 cam but you dont want to get one. The 212/218 is a good cam for the 4.8 and works with n20. Thats what I had in my 4.8 w/n20
for 2 weeks then my motor went. I still have that cam in the LS1 now but not for long but for your 4.8 would be perfect!

where can i get this cam from? im a noob...

any other cams u might suggest that are stronger if any? i dont care about a crappy idle etc. it is daily driven, but i daily drove a 74 pontiac with a 400 out of a 69 firebird that was at 400whp...haha 7mpg sucks.
