Default Price quotes on servo and shift kit install

I got a price quote for a servo install and a shift kit install on my truck and I was wondering what you guys thought. For the servo (corvette) $95-98 and for the shift kit install was $275. All prices include parts.

i would keep looking. I got a quote for 100 bucks for my shift kit instal. that might not even be the greatest price either but it sure beats 275. you could probably do the servo yourself. or find someone that has done it before and lives close to you to give you a hand.

Definatly keep looking.

I had my tranny completly rebuilt- Bands, cluthes, servos, pump, springs, sprag, hardened shaft, etc. I supplied the parts and and drove my truck in and out in 2 days for $400 cash. I really found a good shop who gave me a good deal. If the shop knows what there doing they can do a good job efficiently.

Many wot runs later it still rips, well,... 14 sec rips

are you providing the parts or are they? I would get my own parts to keep markup to a minimum. Also, search and search. Gain all the info you can before you call too. Knowledge is your friend. Especially when you are about to shell out some hard earned money.

Yeah, I paid about $350 for mine to be installed. Full TransGo, both billet servos, new screen, and fluid. The price was a bit higher than other but it was done CORRECTLY as per the manual which is very important.

$100 for a shift kit install seems pretty damn low, the lowest I have seen it fully installed was about $250 or so for just the kit.

When I had mine installed i was quoted 150 and then when he got into it, it jumped up to approx $200 but that was for new filter and fluid and the install. I thought it was fair. I also bought the Transgo and brought it to him.
