price for eaton install

Default price for eaton install

what is the going rate for someone to install eaton posi? i bought it back in the spring, but haven't had time to take it anywhere to get installed. hope to have it in this month before the snow falls

thanks. that is about what i was figuring.

i was told to use 85/140 for gear oil only, anyone else use this?

I paid $200 total for the install of my Eaton and 4.10 gears.
When you get the Eaton in the box, it comes with instructions...they will tell you to use regular GM oil (don't use synth). It even gives the part numbers for the oil and additive.

I paid a friend a friend $75 for the install. Going rate overhere is about $125-$175.

i was told by the place that sold me the posi to use valvoline 85/140 and not to use the additive

I've been told to use 80W-90W mineral based gear oil(GM 80-90 mineral gear lube part #12345977)
