Don't know if I'm ready for the big boys yet. I would love to come Sunday, but I have a few projects I need to get done this weekend.(Electric fan install, tranny cooler, basic maintanance) I still have to get my stickies and shocks too. There's no way I could hang with you guys yet, because I can't even hook the damn thing at 35mph yet. I'll be ready to give yall a try by Nov 6. We're going motor to motor right?

 

You have any round about cost on what all this cost you?? Basically just motor and trans if you care to share. There's a 6.0 on ebay now for around 1600.00 is that about the running price

 

I'd be glad to let you know. I got a great deal on a low mile 6.0L from BigTex for $1100 shipped. The head work(hand port/polish, milling,valve job) cost me around $500 plus my stock 6.0L heads. The cam and springs cost me $543 from Thunder Racing. The TCI 3000 stall was $429, and my super duty 4l60e was $1935 shipped. My mechanic charged me $1000 to install the motor/transmission/ and everything else I carried to him. I had alot of other costs because I basically started from scratch, but that is what the motor/transmission stuff costs. If you want to know anything else I had to get, just let me know. I have every single thing I had to buy written down in a big *** notebook.
