You can take the EGR off or mill it down so it doesn't stick into your intake as much. You could drop a 6.0 in there. What did you mean when you said the MA F quit on you? Mine had serious power loss in upper RPM's but I unplugged the negative battery terminal for 5 min or so and it fixed it. I had to do it twice but it doesn't do it at all now probably 6k miles later.

Do a search for EGR removal it will link you to a site www.installuniversity.com I think but not sure. It's kind of a biatch to take off but worth it IMO. That's about all the free mods I know of.

Kinda off the subject, but what is the coolant bypass and what does it do, what do you gain from doing it??? Im still kinda new at the truck thing.

If you look at the intake from the front right under the TB there are 2 tubes one going from the engine to the TB one from the TB to radiator. The purpose of the coolant is to heat the intake up if you live in a cold area. I live in FL so this is pointless. The thing never shuts off so 200 degree coolant is heating your air up which isn't good. You need midget hands to do this mod but it's fairly easy. Search the forums or installniversity.com for details. I'm sure it helps alittle but I doubt it's anything big.
