Default Posi and Gear Questions

I got a new Eaton Posi off ebay the other day, and I know I will have to buy a spool bearing kit for it. Will I need any other parts for the install?
I also have a 4.10 ring and pinion on the way. Will I need any other parts or install kits, or can I reuse my OEM stuff with the swap?
Thanks, just trying to get all the parts together so I can get this stuff installed quick.

Thanks for the info. I think I will give them a call and see what they say.
So, how did you like the Posi and 4.10 in your old truck? Would you do it again? How much difference was there in your launches after the swap?

i loved the posi and 4:10;

i would definitely do it again;
the launches were great, i was able to take my buddies modded Z28 off the line; enough to put his front end to where my gas tank door was...
then the wheel hop started

I got RIPPED by PYLE OF **** Brothers twice on the same rear end. It broke 3 times and they charged me twice. The last time they supposedly put in an Auburn Pro posi unit. It NEVER spun both tires at ANY time. I took it back to them and they said, "WE don't know what to tell you?" ***** Pyle brothers

BIG J, call William MacLemore, MacLemore automotive. He is in Pasadena, I think off of Preston. He has been building rear ends for ever. He is actually the king of distributors and ignitions but he can build anything. He ain't cheap though. There is another South houston or Pasadena guy named Speeco, I think its Buddy Speeco, something like that, he built the 9" ford for our vette, no problems with it. He had to cut the axle tubes, weld pads setup the whold thing. Did a good job, i will see if I can find the number.

OH YEAH, ET Performance can set it up for you, hes probably the cheapest.

dude, that sucks!
i guess i didnt have the truck long enough after they put it in to see if it would break or not.

who was the person who put it in?
some bald-blonde headed dude did mine, he seemed to know what he was doing, even though i dont know anything much about the install on the rear ends, he could have been feeding mine a line of ****......
