Ported Throttle body issues

I had an extra cable driven throttle body ported a few years ago. it included the necessary sensors, but when I hook it up the engine races at idle and doesn't drive right.

Sounds like they took material out where the blade sits at idle. Most people that do them leave the blade on and port everything except where it sits at idle for that reason.

Did you disconnect the battery while swapping everything and perform the idle relearn?
