rel3rd is right it does feel as if i have better throttle response. The polishing smooths out the rough texture that the aluminum has inside the throttle body bore. Plus it looks sweet when your done lol

With one of my other vehicles, I've been 10.24@133 (10.53@128 in vid
) with a teeny-weeny 65mm throttle body and a smallish (for 500+rwhp) 80mm maf meter. I think the LS style intakes are much more of a problem than the throttle bodies...

I always thought big, bad throttle bodies were somewhat over-rated anyway.

Are there any differences in porting a cable driven T vs a DBW TB?

I did try 65, 70 and finally a 75mm throttle bodies in the 6+ years I had that car. No difference in ET, MPH or Dyno numbers, but I did actually lose some noticeable (when locked in OD at cruise speeds) low end with the 75 on there...
Same issue on another Ford I owned, after that one. Everyone always seemed to be of the opinion that you couldn't over intake or over throttle body an engine, but my last Mustang (before I returned to my GM roots
) lost noticeable bottom end torque as well. From 4000 rpm launch it wasn't noticeable though.

As you can see in the linked specs above, I had 65mm TB and 73mm MAF and shortly after ran 75mm TB, 80mm MAF and a much better flowing intake...The car gained nothing, but lost low end torque big time. It's almost like it's the complete opposite of the LS based vehicles. I keep reading that nobody claims to lose any low end with the big 90/92mm TB's and matching intake, but that isn't the case on any car I've ever owned up to this point...and there's been MANY.
