Im picking up a Ported LS6 intake from a buddy of mine and im going to install it on my mild 5.3 motor. Any tips or tricks advice for throttle cable linkage etc?
Anyone else done this install if so, pictures would be nice too.
I dont have the intake yet, just figured i would gather the information and figure everything out before hand for an easier install.

The car intake is more work than you might expect to get it to work on a truck...

 

Really? How much extra work are we talking about?

 

need the car waterpump and relocate the alternator...

 

Not too bad. The 07+ truck water pump will work and then all you need is the idler relocation backet.

 

I got a truck acc bracket already chopped for a car intake if you don't want to chop up your stocker
