Hey guys should i port n polish the heads on my soon to be installed 5.3? would it be worth it? Thanks

Well i'm not doing it my self i'm getting them done at a friends car shop.
Umm... not too sure i haven't looked at the casting number on them, its out of an 04'

862 or 706 heads more than likely

Then yes have it done. You will see the gains. Sdpc now has cnc ported heads for the 5.3 for like 999 complete with exchange.

Sometimes its better to buy something outright, than to have it done yourself..The labor on a p&p job plus valve job,re-surface can add up..And you may be paying for something that will net you no power, or even make you lose power...Go with the SDPC heads and be done with it...They are a reputable shop
