Default a poor mans ram air

here ya go, i was inspired by all the stuff people were doing on this site with fiberglass and molded abs, but all of those items are not so readily available to everybody so i went to lowes and voila, ram air. first off let me list the parts, i started off with a 4x10 ac register with a 6" inlet, next to a 6 to 4 reducer, and from there to the 4 inch flexible tube. i cut a hole in the stock airbox on the bottom side which wasn't too hard, and plumbed it right in. this wasn't even a challenge the only thing i had to do to make everything fit right was trim the opening of the register on the short side, cutting it at an angle made it fit the angle of the bumper. all in all, an easy project, i spent just over 20 bucks and about an hour on it and most of that was cutting the hole in the airbox. Let me know what u guys think. and yes i know it needs paint i left it unpainted for pics.

yeah i couldnt find a 6 inch coupling, so duct tape to the rescue, oh well... flame it if you want the fact is that it fits, works, and is hidden. and what exactly do you want for an hour and 20 bucks, it got me about 1.5 mpg's on the highway, so to me it was worth it, you guys can go spend 330~ dollars on a volant and another 90~ on the scoop if you want to.... but its still doing the same thing
