Default Which plug wires with ASM's (MSD sux)

What wires are everybody running with ASMs? I have MSDs now but they are about 2 or 3 inchs too long and they rub the firewall, dipstick tube, and battery cable bracket, and now there are holes in half of them and my truck runs kind of shitty. Also the boots burned against the headers, but I don't know how to get around that happened. Does anybody have the Fbody MSDs or are they too short? Also how do I keep the boots from burning on the headers? Thanks. The MSDs lasted about 15k miles by the way

yea i was not very happy with my msds then when i was at thunder i had a prob with my truck and we changed them to taylors. did not fix the prob but i like the fit better. likt that the boot that connects to the plug is not so long and i believe the wires are shortet. But i have valvecover spacers so the wires are streched more. the msds rubbed the heat shield on the fire wall but these dont. someone mentioned another brand thatalot of people liked but i cant remember the name.

Smith and Fast4.8 your wires don't rub? Mine are about 2 or 3 inches too long and the slack in them rubbed until there were holes. Maybe I got an older set of something but they fixed the problem now.

I run MSDs and I like them a lot. I also use boot pretectors though, otherwise they for sure would have melted on the headers.

stock works just fine really, guys making more horsepower with dailydriver trucks around here than any of us in this thread make run stock wires. i believe stupidfast had stock wires on his when i saw it last and he's making 500/500+ rwhp/rwtq on a daily driven blown 6.0
