Ok. Well my searching skills are on the fritz, because I can't find any 6.0/LQ4/LQ9 that say they will come in any of those suggested vehicles. I was just trying to get a price. I guess when I got the truck and ready for the swap I will just send an email or call them.

Thanks for the help.

06 escalade ESV uses a vin:N code 6.0 GM part number:89018971

If you build this vehicle using scoggin dickeys online parts catalog the above motor is 3500.00 dunno if there is core charge etc but you can call them to find out.

Why not just run the orginal motor and let it eat untill or if it pops? That's what im going to do, these motors are cheap and plentiful. So when it goes it shouldn't be a problem to source a replacement...

There is a core charge, but I am not sure what it is. I was going to buy 1 at one point.

car-part is your friend. I picked up an 80K mile LQ4 that came with the 80E, all the accessories and computer for 2,500 bucks. Would have been cheaper if I had gone to pick it up myself, shipping freight half way across the country is not cheap but there is nothing wrong with a junkyard swap.

I think all the escalades came with the lq9.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure all the Denali's, Vortec Max, and Escalades are LQ9.

Express Vans and trucks would house the LQ4.

There was a break point somewhere in there I think it as 05 or 06. I had a 02 C3 denali truck I bought new and it had a LQ4.

I guess I'll just see what ever truck I get and throw some boost at it no matter what motor it has. I don't see much of an advantage of a 6.0 swap when I can just have a pretty decent 4.8 or 5.3, but I sure wish I could build a 4l60e and be confident in it holding up. Nobody seems to have that luck. A 80e will be in the future when it gets a little turbo action.
