Wow that engine looks sweeeeeeeeeet!
Love that aluminum block!

It would be really cool if you could drop in a 6 speed vette trany too! How "doable" is that? I know it wouldnt be easy but wouldnt it be more durable and reliable than an auto tranny?

If we used a t56 than you would need a different driveshaft along with moving the trany crossmember but nothing too big. Truthfully for the best tranny I'll be moving to a turbo 400.

i'd go 200-4r before i'd go turbo 400...but a six speed wouldn't be that bad either...there are several of them in the 9s from what i've heard/seen. putting the vette transaxle in a truck can and has been done, but i'm sure it's a pain in the *** and not really worth it.

I was under the impression that the F-bodies used the same driveshaft for both the A4 and the M6? I really think that the M6 swap would be easier than some have made it out to be.

I though the t56 was shorter? I will find out this summer when we put a ls1/t56 in a 1969 corvette.
