ok i just recently bought a 02 chevy with the 5.3 and flowmaster mufflers on it. i was wondering what the best preformance upgrade would be for the money and how much power it would give me. thinking about an intake and chip or custon tune. any suggestions?

 

A tune always helps with more power and the e-fans are a common mod.

 

i will say underdrive pulley,CAI,no cats w/ borla exhaust, and long tubes headers and a majar CUSTOM TUNE for the PCM...... that will get you moving quite well........

 

im buying a K&N intake soon then ill get the tune. how much does a tune run for? and how much power will it give me?

 

Best perfomance for the dollar is nitrous, you will need a tune with it though.

 

i got my predator on ebay for $150 shipped. and before people bash the handhelds, this holds a handful of tunes and you can get free custome tunes from diablo (or at least you could)
