Default People with Wester's PCM's (Questions)

What should I put for the transmission settings? They offer 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 1-2-3, 2-3-4 and some other shift point setting changes. Also there's another pulldown menu that shows different RPM's (factory detent shift), not sure what to choose there either. Then it asks you if you want to hold gear longer or have easier detent downshifts, should I worry about these options?

I'm just about ready to purchase one of these and have it upgraded in the future as I mod my truck (you can't beat the free upgrades!!). Oh ya, I currently have 3.42 gears with an open diff, thought this might help in figuring out which tranny settings to use (not sure though).

Anybody?

Also, I didn't notice anything for octane tuning on the order form at Wester's website. Did I overlook something or do you just add this to the list of things to have programmed?

Call Lyndon himself and talk to him. Tell him what you want the truck to do and he will tune it that way. That order form is a crock of ****.

Like when I called. I told him I didnt care about gas milage, towed on the weekends and wanted the max hp out of my 6.0. Thats it. It runs like a raped ape.

Cool, thanks guys I went ahead and emailed him about my questions and he recommended I call him. He sounds like an great guy! One of his comments was, "Steve, trust me I can do all kinds of FUN stuff with these computers". I already like the guy
