Default pcm controlled e-fans

After printing out the diagram and buying all necessary parts I began the installation last night. I run into a problem hooking into the pcm. Actually, the way I understand it, "blue connector pin 42" should be located beneath the "electrical center" or fuse box under the hood. I could not find such a thing. Could someone help me out? I'm possibly looking in the wrong place. Thanks!

It's going to be located in the pcm wiring harness. You will need a wire pin and stick it in pin 42. The one in the fuse is for compresor that will turn on your fans when the A/C goes on.

What he said. Every hole on the PCM wiring harness connector is numbered. There is a blue connector and a red connector. The is a yellow insulating foam type piece that the wire pin is used for. Make sure you make a big enough hole for your wire to slip through.

From what I gathered from the post, you need to know where the pcm is? If so, it is underneth the plastic cover directly behind your battery. Just remove the cover and you will see the red/blue connectors.

Make sure to disconnect the battery first.

Thanks for all the help. Back to the subject, connecting to the pin #42 will turn the fans on at my set temps and when AC is on?

Only at the set temps. THe fan harness I made had a high and low settings. I bought a cheesy little temperature controller from O'Reily's for e-fans and made it throw the switch for the low side of the fans. That has a push pin style probe like the FAL controller does. The PCM will switch them from low to high when it turns on. The AC will do the same thing. If the low side isn't on already, the AC will turn the one high.
