Default Paid off! Time to play

Ol red is finally paid for and needing some love. I have the 4.8 (CAI/JBA Headers) and want to do a good cam/nos combo. Also either swap the heads (243/ls6?) or rebuild these? If so what needs to be done besides springs and head bolts? Mill heads, new valves? Finally throw a tune on. Also, was thinking about an x pipe but never noticed anyone having them, is it better sticking with the ORY? I dont want a 6.0 and to go nuts but would like a nice setup with what ive got. Its not a dd but would like to keep it reliable. Figure this wont break the bank but add a little pep. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Just save up and put a turbo on it, then forget about it

Hell man the thing should be faster just because you're not pulling the payment around anymore!

A play truck...I'd like a turbo but looking for something a little more in the budget. Just wanna stick with a nice cam/nos and tune combo. Leaning towards a 224 comp with a nelson tune. Or would it be better to run a zo6 cam with nos. If the stock heads just need rods and springs, I don't know if reworking these heads are worth it or slap a better set on. After I kill it I'll drop the 6.0 in.
