I dont know how I feel about taking the stroker to 7k, but with appropriate valve control I don't mind trying

where are you guys ordering custom length pushrods from? I'll probably need a few different lengths when I set this thing up finally
My nephew shifts his 434 63 Nova ht I could swear he said @ 7800 and its just a 400 sbc stroker with big cam big heads. I think an LS is stouter bottom end so shouldn't you be ok at 7k? Miss my C5!

We will see how she likes to rev before committing to anything, but my main concern is the piston rocking at BDC

What I was referencing cost wise was the generic chromoly standard lengths that everyone sells around $100 range. I think My mantons where around $250
Gotcha. Well most people just generically throw 7.4’s in without measuring. Mean while most stock setups with 7.4’s already exceeded the preload suggested for stock by hitting .120-.130

His suggestion was a 236/240 .600/.600 114+4

seems like the duration split is small for square ports, but then again I don't really
know squat about cams

If the people doing cam swaps even buy pushrods... LOL

I found a good video for the cheapskates that don't like to buy the correct tool and take the measurement. I found it on this site when doing some lifter preload research. I came across this page. NOTE: I am NOT endorsing there products in any way, just sharing the tech article I read as I feel it has some valuable information. I have never done any buissnes with them. https://gwatneyperformance.com/lifte...ont-hurt-will/
