Default Paging PatG: LS3 408 needs a cam!

All other input welcome! Looking to re-cam my 408 to put the 408 in my C5. Asking here because I dont frequent Tech, and the Corvette "forum" is a bunch of 83 yr old men complaining about Trump and comparing the number of times they waxed their car this year

Specs are:

LS3 top end; 90mm TB; stock manifold
+1mm intake valves; solid SS
PAC 1219s, steel retainers
Stock ports
10.2 SCR
1 7/8 LTs
3" X Pipe
M6

Goals: would like it drivable without any hiccups or surges. Would really like to crack 500whp, NA. Would like all the power to happen before ~6300 (stroker life and all)

Just be realistic with your answers. That's the most important thing.

I dont know my intake and exhaust valve sizes without a Google search

and some other items

I'll get it figured, I already know my goal. 500rwhp for bragging rights and all the power before ~6300. Just need to answer the other questions

Share it with us so we can tell you that your expectations are unrealistic.

Sheet says everything that was shared here, except I had to add vehicle weight (3300) rear gear (3.42) and desired shift rpm (2500-3k)

I think that he doesn't care where you want part throttle shifts to occur.

He wants to know wide open shifts not part throttle like Mike stated.
