Default Ground clearance

There will be no ground clearance problems with the headers, dont know about the ory. You bottom of the collecter is not lower then the frame. Look for the finnal #'s and pictures soon.

That's interesting. Have you heard of or, seen any such problems? My Thorley's are not welded.

I dont think the welds look TOO bad. The finish of the header is what stands out tho. It looks great but Im expecting it to take a while or a nice sized price increase when they tackle fitting the SS/Hummer crowd. Ive also never seen a constant bead around the head/header flange like that. I only hope they resurface the gasket area after welding them up like that. Thats ALOT of heat in four fixed locations. How thick are the flanges? 3/8?

hey 01
looks good

if its still in the air
mind posting up some more pics from underneath of the
collector in relation to the crossmember
especially the driver side

reason i ask is cause my set is on its way (actually on backorder)
and Im coming out the collector with 3" cutouts

out the driver side either below or above the Xmember
then over to the pass side and tie into the Xpipe

passenger side shouldnt be a problem

just trying to get a general idea of how its all gonna
line up and whats instore for this xmember

any help would be appreciated

Does the steering shaft hit or rub a primary at all?? Did you get the y-pipe too or just the headers? That and one of those plug wires looks deathly close to the header. That cant be a good thing.

No, I really haven't...

I think I first heard about it on one of those Hot-Rod TV shows -- the guys visited (I think) Finish Line Performance (Dynatech?) for a set of custon bent headers for something they were building. The show followed along for some of the fabrication...

I'm glad you haven't. lol

I wonder if the f-body pace headers use the same welded primaries.
