They arent CARB legal because they relocate the cats. It may pass a sniff test but the headers themselves have no CARB EO.

There are no legal long tube headers in CA. none. You might be able to pass the sniffer but no way on the visual which is a part of the procedure.
You can always swap back for smog if your handy with welding.

call dougs headers. Its either dougs or thorely. they are two companys now that he and his wife split. They have a legal carb # on their set of long tubes for our trucks. Wont list on their website just call them. Full stainless with 1 3/4 primarys for $670. Only full length thats legal, but to be technical you can't replace anything in your exhaust unless it breaks. .. but!! it has a carb#!

Actually, the Pacesetter do not relocate the cats ... at least not on 6.0L. I have Pacesetter LT and kept my factory cats and resonators in the OEM location. Although the LT do not have a CARB EO #, they may pass the visual and with proper tuning will pass the tailpipe. I am not sure where you are located, but I am in North Hollywood. I would be willing to show you my LT on my 1500HD if you would like.
