Default Pacesetter LT headers hitting steering shaft? Solutions?

Hey guys, new to the forum. I've looked around quite a bit and can't get a solid answer for this issue. Just installed my new pacesetter long tube headers and the off road pipe on my 2005 Silverado Z71 5.3 L. It sounds great even before the tune. The problem now is that when I really get the rpms up and the engine gets to rockin one of the headers starts hammerin away at the steering shaft. Obviously this won't do at all so I need some solutions. One guy said he moved the steering gear box over a bit and it fixed the issue. Is this feasible? Thanks in advance. Really stuck here.

Yea I read about a number of guys doing this. Honestly I'd like to avoid messing with the shape of the header. Any idea of the gear box can be nudged over a bit? Obviously I'll have to realign if so.

Is it the shaft or the bolt hitting. I just installed dynatech headers and had to chang the bolt to a shorter one
