Pacesetter headers.

How should i have my exhaust run? Should i just use the factory y pipe when i get them installed? Also how hard are they to install? because i have every tool i need just never installed headers except on my dragster and theres nothing in the way for that. Or should i go to a speed shop and pay 250 to get them installed? And whats some typical gains from longtubes?

I would get dual exhaust and have them run it over the tranny crossmember then to the pass side dump it or run it out the back. Do it yourself it isnt easy but you can do it and save that 250 for the exhasut shop bill and tires. You will notice SOTP difference but it wont be like nitrous or a supercharger but it will let you gain alot more power from other mods.

We just installed a set of those with the Y pipe and it was deff an easy install. In no time at all we had that rcsb silverado growling like a Tiger. No exhaust leaks or any negative results. By far, one of the easier header installs I have done.

that's a video running open headers, After we took that, it litterally took us 10-15 minutes to slip the y-pipe on.
