Default Pacesetter 4WD

I am looking at buying a pair of pacesetter ceramic coated long tube headers. I have an 06 chevy z71 and wanted to know if anyone has installed them, how they fit and look? Any issues you have run into, any info would be helpful.

I have installed the ceramic ones on my '01 with a 5.3

They are a good header for what you pay.. my only complaint aboit them is the slip-fit collector but that can be easily fixed with some nice quality band clamps.. i made the mistake of using the crush type ones cause i was in a rush.. i also have the ory bolted up to the stock exhaust and it fit perfect.

I had the non coated pacesetters on my 07 classic z for about 3 years. Had slight rub from frame on passenger side I believe. Also had to have a custom crossover pipe made to clear front drive shaft. Were great for the price I paid at the time but with no protective coating surface rust began forming so recently sold them (some sandblasting and coating will make them good as new) and switched to lpp stainless. no frame rub with these but did have to notch a tube to allow steering column clearance being that I have a body lift. y pipe supplied also does not clear drive shaft, so going to have a new crossover made again.

i know the lpps i ordered said the y would clear the front drive shaft, but there's no way its happening. crossover section hugs the trans pan so i imagine fitment would be an issue regardless of height. not sure how similar pacesetter crossover is

If you are lowering it then it should do the opposite of what happens when you lift the truck.. when you lift it, it brings the front driveshaft down onto the ORY.. so i would guess when you lower it, it will either stay at about the same clearance or widen the clearence.. i guess it depends on how much you lower it too.
