Default P/N for the OEM HD oil cooler

I understand that the HD trucks come with an engine oil cooler that goes to the radiator via rigid tubing. This looks far superior to the B&M rubber hose set up I have.
Anyone????

Part number was 15725587, but from reading on a board says it was replaced by 15203890 hose and 15203889 gasket. Has tubing up to almost the front of the engine, then rubber hose to radiator. I have one on my 6.0 2500. Do a yahoo for 15725587 and gets a lot of info.

I was told the B&M is much better. I was going to get my 34" raditor with the cooler in it and allen at nelsons told me don't bother that the B&M is much better.

My truck has the HD cooler and I am going to be putting on a B&M, the stock cooler isnt that great. The stock cooler is better then nothing however if you are going to install one on a truck that doesnt have a cooler do a B&M or something similar, if you are going to do the work then just go with a good cooler. You can pick up a decent B&M for 50-100 bux depending on how big of a cooler you want.

The reason I want the stocker is because of the mount on the oilfilter that has the prefab rigid tubing. If the rigid tubing stops around the front of the engine, that'l work, I'll just slip the hose for the b&m over it...
If you ever run rubber oil lines around all the crap we have under the hood, they can't touch anything, unless you want them to rub and vibrate gashes in them. They are very fragile over time.
